N/TOPIA

N/TOPIA explores the human relationship to concepts of utopia and dystopia. Through a live immersive multimedia audio and visual production, featuring guitarist Janet Feder, this work dances on a plane between the controlled and uncontrolled, the utopic and dystopic. It is here in the in-between we find N/TOPIA.

Originally conceived as a 360-degree multimedia live performance for fulldome, N/TOPIA premiered at the Conference of World Affairs in Fiske Planetarium. The piece earned the prestigious Immersive Sensory Award and was a featured performance at the 2019 Cube Fest presented in the 140-multichannel Cube at Virgina Tech. In 2020, it was further recognized as a featured selection for the Kaleidoscope Virtual Noise Showcase.
